Our client is a global manufacturer who have adopted world class manufacturing methodologies. Due to continued success they now require a Logistics Manager to provide leadership to a production team within a lean manufacturing ethos.

About the Role:

By effectively managing the logistics team, you will provide leadership within a fast-moving production/assembly environment where performance is measured against key metrics and quality standards and the focus is on driving a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3rd level qualification in a related discipline (or equivalent professional development)
  • 3 years’ experience in a logistics or operations management role within an assembly/production environment
  • Experience of logistics or operations management within an ERP/MRP environment, preferably SAP
  • Results orientated
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the application of continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing or Six-Sigma
