Our client is a major manufacturer and market leader in their field. Due to continued success and ambitious growth plans they now wish to recruit a Head of Sales (Director designate) to join their senior management team based in Mid Ulster.

Role Summary:



  • As Head of Sales you will develop and implement a multi channel sales strategy for the continued growth of the business, through major Department Store and ecommerce platforms
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the implementation of sales strategies and manage staff within the division
  • To create and develop commercial opportunities to increase revenue
  • Develop international sales strategy and implement – travelling when required
  • Carry out market research and introduce new product lines to market
  • Ensure the Board of Directors and colleagues are systematically appraised of market opportunities, conditions and associated business developments
  • Facilitate highly effective team working through the business
  • Maintains effective working relationships with directors and managers and advise on how to ensure their staff are retained; remain motivated; and demonstrate continuing improved performance. 

The ideal candidate:



  • At least 3- 5 years in a senior Sales Management role
  • Sound academic education – degree qualified in a business or related discipline
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and managing key strategic relationships
  • Excellent people management skills
    • Good ecommerce experience
    • International sales experience, ideally selling into major Department stores.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal departments
    • Highly analytical with excellent project management skills
    • Ability to lead others and set direction while remaining hands on
    • Excellent IT skills


This is a senior position that offers a salary to match the seniority, bonus, lap top, mobile phone and pension.
