General Manager

Our client is a market leader in their sector where their customers always come first.  As part of ambitious growth plans they now wish to recruit a General Manager to be based in their Head Office in Co Armagh.

Role Summary – General Manager:

  • Full managerial responsibility for all company divisions (full details will be disclosed on request)
  • Maximise profitability by division
  • Manage & motivate staff performance / KPI’s on an ongoing basis
  • HR responsibilities
  • Identify current trends within the sector and maximise opportunities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities including providing detailed analysis / statistics to ensure customer needs are always met
  • Liaise between all departments in the organisation
  • Responsible for observing all Health & Safety Regulations within the site
  • Supervise and develop new members of staff

The Person – General Manager:

  • Strong academic background with a third level qualification
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role (General Manager) in a fast- paced commercial environment
  • Resilient, very self-motivated, with strong leadership experience
  • Capacity to think and react positively under pressure
  • Team player with a hands-on attitude
  • Strong IT skills including all Microsoft packages
  • Full driving license.
