Our client is a multi-award-winning construction Company based in Mid Tyrone. They wish to recruit a Finance Manager (part time) to oversee the accounting function of the business.
Finance Manager – Part Time
The Role in brief (full spec available on request):
- Develop and update financial control systems as necessary to meet current governance standards and put processes in place to mitigate any financial risks.
- Delegate key functions within the finance department and ensure that they are consistently applied to the required standards.
- Ensure that all necessary processes are in place and that the accounting software is updated and functioning effectively.
- Produce financial reports for the Board of Directors, SMT or for other purposes as necessary ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor all financial risks
- Maintain a daily bank balance and report issues of concern immediately to the Board
- Monitor all overhead costs and where they can be reduced make appropriate recommendations
- Ensure the company meets all statutory and legal obligations (VAT, PAYE, CITB Levy, ROI tax, pensions)
The ideal candidate –
- Fully qualified Accountant
- At least 5 years experience within industry
- Experience of managing a finance team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at board level
