Continuous Improvement Engineer (Electrical / Electronics)

As the successful candidate you will work in multi-disciplinary environment developing state of the art monitoring & diagnostic technology. You will also support the operations team to enable a smooth transition of product developments from emerging engineering to manufacturing operations and includes support of customer technical issues.

The role in brief:

  • It is important that you understand fault finding to component level on PCBAs. (to a reasonable degree of complexity)
  • Fault finding complex electrical / mechanical products to Root Cause.
  • Manage multiple continuous improvement projects.
  • Communicating findings to cross functional groups and ensuring fixes are carried out
  • Lead product improvements from initial concept to production.


The ideal candidate:

  • Degree/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • A solid understanding of analogue and digital design.
  • Experience of industry standard PCB CAD packages (ideally Altium Designer)
  • It is critical that you can demonstrate previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives.
  • Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience.
  • Knowledge of problem solving and quality processes, e.g. 8D
  • Determination to fully understand failures.
