Reporting into the Site HR Business Partner, the Training Officer will assume full management responsibility for the site Training Function, ensuring it delivers on objectives.  This will include the management and development of the Site Trainers and Specialist Skills Trainers.


 The ideal candidate:


  • 3 years’ experience gained within a Training Environment
  • CIPD certificate in Training Practice
  • 2+ years Supervisory/management experience
  • Shift flexibility to meet Operational needs
  • Proven excellent Communication skills
  • The ability to relate to staff at all levels
  • The ability to encourage and motivate people
  • Organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage own time
  • Experience of designing, creating and delivering Presentations
  • The ability to write reports, keep records, and work with budgets
  • IT Literate-Microsoft office packages
  • Knowledge and experience of working with/developing Performance Appraisal Systems
  • Working knowledge of external Grant funding
  • Change management experience
  • Continuous Improvement and Culture change
  • Ideally a 3rd level qualification in related discipline
  • Knowledge/experience in writing SOPs
