Our client is the leader in their industry selling a wide range of storage solutions and related equipment.  Due to continued success, they require a Sales Executive to support and drive business growth.

Sales Executive (Internal)

A passionate and self-motivated individual, you must be confident in your ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team. You will have a varied workload to include developing customer relationships and managing a comprehensive showroom. The ideal candidate will have an ability to understand dimensions & some technical issues e.g. most suitable product, size, dimensions and so on. This is an excellent position offering sociable working hours (Mon-Fri) and a competitive remuneration including uncapped commission.

The Role: Sales Executive – Internal (full spec on request)

  • Quotation, follow up, negotiation and closing of sales against a sales target
  • Generation of Sales/Purchase Orders
  • Sales calls to new and existing customers with a view to generate business
  • Respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, email or in person
  • Develop and maintain customer databases (prospective and current customers)
  • Demonstration and presentation of company products / services to the customer
  • Provide a sales support / co-ordination function to the field sales reps
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding product, pricing and dispatch of customer orders
  • Customer retention management

The ideal candidate: Sales Executive

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, reliable and trustworthy to complete tasks effectively
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy and communication skills with a commercial acumen
  • Tenacious with an ability to positively influence existing customer leads, source new leads and have persistence to successfully book appointments
  • High standards and attention to detail - Keep accurate and detailed records of all customer communication, assign and action follow up tasks to successfully complete sales process
  • Great relationship and communication skills with sales team, supporting them by setting up appointments and managing diary, partnering to develop sales 
  • High competence using IT programs - Email, Calendar & CRM systems
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude is essential. 


Other information:

A competitive remuneration is on offer for the right candidate together with an uncapped commission structure. The business will reward creativity and drive and normal working hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
