Quality Manager

Our client is a specialist manufacturer whose name is synonymous with Operational Excellence, lean manufacture and assembly of world-class product. Due to continued success they require a:


The role in brief:

  • Responsible for co-ordinating activities required to meet world-class quality standards and targets
  • To ensure that products built meet both external and internal requirements, including regulatory compliance and customer expectations
  • Monitor and advise on quality performance, producing data and reports on performance measured against set indicators
  • Liaising with other departments and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that QMS is functioning properly

The ideal candidate:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a Quality/Engineering department
  • Graduate in an engineering or other technical discipline
  • Sound understanding and experience of ISO9001/AS9100
  • Significant experience in applying problem solving methodologies
  • Excellent business correspondence and report & procedure writing skills
  • Excellence and confidence in delivering presentations to all levels including senior management and external customers
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in managing a Quality Department
  • Masters or relevant post graduate qualification
  • CQI or ASQ qualifications
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Lean training and experience
