The role in brief:

·         Responsible for co-ordinating activities required to meet world-class quality standards and targets

·         To ensure that products built meet both external and internal requirements, including regulatory compliance and customer expectations

·         Monitor and advise on quality performance, producing data and reports on performance measured against set indicators

·         Liaising with other departments and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that QMS is functioning properly


The ideal candidate:

·         Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a Quality/Engineering department

·         Graduate in an engineering or other technical discipline

·         Sound understanding and experience of ISO9001/AS9100

·         Significant experience in applying problem solving methodologies

·         Excellent business correspondence and report & procedure writing skills

·         Excellence and confidence in delivering presentations to all levels including senior management and external customers

·         Minimum 5+ years’ experience in managing a Quality Department

·         Masters or relevant post graduate qualification

·         CQI or ASQ qualifications

·         Six Sigma Black Belt certification

·         Lean training and experience
