Our client is a subsidiary of a major Plc. with operations throughout the UK and Ireland. They are a major supplier to builders, commercial operations and the general public. As a result of continuing growth they wish to appoint a:

Group Sales Manager

Supported by a talented team, and with your expert guidance, you will play a significant role in the company's ambitious growth plans through continued development of our branch sales teams and strengthening relationships with existing key customers in order to deliver long term, sustainable revenue growth.

The person:

You will be success driven with several years of proven sales management experience and a management style which will lead from the front.  You will have a high level of commercial awareness and the interpersonal leadership skills necessary to allow you to positively influence and develop the business. Ideally you will have -


  • A proven history of working to and achieving sales budgets/targets is a prerequisite.
  • Advanced negotiation and selling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills.
  • Well-developed IT and administration skills.
  • Time management and task prioritisation skills.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task.
