Business Development Executive

Overview – Business Development Executive:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will prepare and deliver against the agreed Sales and Marketing targets.

Key Responsibilities – Business Development Executive:

  • Assist the Sales Manager in the preparation of the annualul Sales and Marketing Budgets for Northern Ireland and ROI
  • Responsible for developing sales within the construction/modular building market
  • Organise marketing campaign's covering all of the businesses products
  • Achieve agreed budgeted gross profits after deduction of cost of sales.
  • Develop sales growth though (1) New Customers and (2) New Market Sectors
  • Undertake analysis of competitors on a regular basis
  • Report each month on all Sales and Marketing activities to the Sales Manager
  • Prepare tenders and negotiate prices with customers
  • Liaise with the Technical Director, Finance office and Sales Manager
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing accounts
  • Adhere to credit limits and liaise with Credit Control
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Working with the management team on commercial issues such as sales and financial planning

The ideal candidate – Business Development Executive:

  • Approx. 2-3 years sales experience ideally in the construction / modular building market
  • Good level of secondary education, ideally educated to university level
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
  • You must be ambitious, enthusiastic, driven and looking to take the next step in your career.
